Nissan Motor preserves past models considered to be of historic importance. Referred to as "historic cars", these vehicles represent part of Nissan's corporate heritage. Here are a few examples of past models:

Nissan Van - 1937
	Having obtained production equipment bought from the American company Graham Page in 1937, the company started production of a large vehicle - the "NISSAN". The powerful 3,670cc, 85PS, 6-cylinder engine and Japan’s first semi-cabover design together made this a popular vehicle. This particular vehicle was used by the Mitsukoshi department store through the war years, from 1939 till 1965, to make deliveries. Datsun Sedan - 1956
	The "110", announced in January 1955, was the first postwar passenger vehicle to be completely designed from scratch. The truck (120) launched at the same time was also popular and a month after going on sale, the number of orders exceeded 2,000 units. In November of the same year, "112" with a redesigned grille (winner of the Mainichi Industrial Design Award) was launched and in June of the following year, it was replaced by the column-shift "113". Fairlady 1500 - 1962
	The history of Japan’s modern motor sports began with the 1st Japan GP Race (1963, Suzuka) and this machine was the winner of the B-II race. The driver was G. Tahara, who later became Sports Car Club of Nissan Chairman. Although the car was based on the Datsun 310 chassis (first-generation Bluebird) with the Cedric’s engine, its fame spread as an authentic sports car. Nissan R380-II - 1967
	The R380 set new speed records in 1965 and 1967. First, on October 6/14, 1965, the R380-I established 5 world records. Then, on October 8,1967, this commemorative car - Type II (modified type II) - set no fewer than 7 international records (50km, 50 miles, 100km, 100 miles, 200km, 200 miles, 1 hour) on a course in Yatabe, Ibaraki Pref. Sunny 1200 4-door Deluxe - 1970
	The second-generation Sunny was launched with a 1,200cc engine in January 1970, four years after the B10’S debut. It was a hit with its dynamic styling, the largest interior in its class, a powerful 68PS engine, a top speed of 150km/h, front strut-type independent suspension, and automatic ventilation system. Pulsar EXA Convertible - 1985
	This limited edition model, designed to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Nissan Cherry dealerships, was launched in May 1985. Just 100 vehicles were made available for the whole country. Based on a 5-speed manual transmission vehicle, it sports numerous special accessories. The soft top is made from a special material with excellent insulating properties to keep out the rain and heat, and the rear window is made from organic glass to ensure high visibility. Nissan R90CK - 1990
	There were 2 types of R90 - the R90C made at Oppama, and the R90CK made by NME (NISMO Europe) - differing in cowl and rear spoiler design. The R90CK was entered in WSPC including Le Mans, in 1990 and 1991; it also took part in US endurance races. Terrano Rally Car - 1996
	The second-generation Terrano was launched in September 1995. In January of the following year, it participated in the TOTAL Granada-Dakar Rally 1996 (aka: Paris-Dakar). This car is a replica of the machine which entered in the same rally by the Nissan Private Japon team. It was produced as a display car for the autumn 1995 Tokyo Motor Show. In the rally, the Ishihara/Saito team came in 60th place (9th in the T1 class), and the Takeda/Sugimoto team came in 62nd place. Nissan R390 GT1 - 1998
	Of the machines entered in the GT class of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, at least one must be based on a vehicle that can be driven on public roads. Therefore this road car was created in order to obtain official type-approval for the R390 GT1 as a "GT car". Fairlady Z 300ZX - 1998
	Since the launch of the first-generation S30 (1969), the Fairlady Z became an exceptional hit as a sports car with a production total in excess of 1 million units. Special features of the fourth-generation model (Z32), launched in July 1989, included its spirited silhouette - wide proportions, slanted nose, and forward cabin.
